Today was a typical HelpX day at our new and improved location 30 km south of Rome: In the morning we made and gave out chicken feed, weeded some raised beds and harvested two varieties of onions. Tea break. Back outside to harvest three types of potatoes under the Muscat grape vines. Lunch. Pruning the Muscat vines to concentrate the flavor into the grapes. Tea Break. Watering plants, picking cherries and cleaning the pool concluded the work day.
Tomorrow we’re off-duty and headed to POMPEII!
